This man even astounds me sometimes! When was the last time you heard a manager say, "I want their star players on the field."?

I can see his point. Do I hope RVP and Rooney play? No of course not but I can see how we may get complacent if their 2 best players are out.

 

i worry that we might thinks its going to be easy with Rooney & RVP missing

 

Could be these, number of things really.

1) Might make Moyes want to risk them, unlikely but never know
2) Puts pressure on them as a threat

 

They both played in our game at OT and they didn't manage a goal between them!

Correct. Ferguson told Jose he was retiring sounding Jose out about the job.

Jose said he had agreed to join Chelsea

Two weeks LATER he told Moyes he was retiring and offered him the job

Me too but I missed the bit about him saying he wasn't offered it. Of course you wouldn't offer the job to someone who had already decided to go somewhere else.

 

Looking forward to this game. Hope one team goes out to try and win, unlike last time when they both set up not to lose.

 

This match has the potential to be very open and exciting but has the habit of turning out boring and tactical

 

It certainly will be from a United perspective as 4th choice Moyes has never beaten a top four club.

 

I think the Arsenal crowd may put you right on this point if you ask them
