Just seen his interview on saints Player ( Post Hull ) . Mad as a hatter but a real laugh . If this is the general banter in the team , we have no fears over team morale IMHO .
Everyone in the squad is playing for each other and it is really good to see that every outfield player joins in celebrating a goal. Morale could not be any higher
Great character to have in the dressing room, seems like a real joker and it looks from the outside that the whole team likes each other, which is a rare commodity in this day and age. We are very fortunate to have such a great bunch.
Me too! Also, my favourite thing i recently heard was him during training walking off to train with the strikers after scoring on the tuesday night. Something simple yet in great humour and you can just imagine his cheeky smile as he's doing it and really made me
Celtic fans disliked him because his pronouncements seemed brash and egotistical, but it's pretty obvious that Jos is playing the part for giggles, and doing it extremely well...he got a laugh out of me for hijacking the interview to describe himself as a predator in front of goal.
Superb player, Superb guy is our box head! Love the fact he is always the first and the last to applaud the fans - A True Saint
It's quite clear he's just saying it for a laugh! Seems a great guy - backed up by the fact he always sseems to be meeting up with former team mates.
Jos is a great bloke and player. Just wondered if anyone could help me, how do you set an avatar to display with your name? I want to get this on there: please log in to view this image
I haven't got Player so I haven't seen the interview but if it's anything like the banter that flies backwards and forwards between the players on Twitter, I can imagine how funny it is!!
I don't think he is mad I just think he has a personality, much devoid in the generic football pro these days . However, you can see we have real team spirit from the way that Fonte and himself celebrated the second goal at Hull on Tuesday. There is a togetherness and a belief which should pull us through.
Do you remember his first interview when he signed? 'Why did you choose Southampton.' 'Because I was told it was a tropical paradise with palm trees.' Absolutely priceless.
The weather seems to be a bit of an obsession with our signings. Lee tweeted how much warmer Southampton is than oop north (he didn't say the last bit!). Presumably no one tells possible signings about our great team, fantastic fans and ambition....Cortese just tells them they'll be much comfier down south.
