Have been watching various articles about the aforementioned,who appears at the moment to be the hottest property in the English league. To day I saw that WHU have had a 4mil offer turned down,and according to their chairman,he has received, inquires from 8 premiership clubs,offering considerably more than the WH bid, stating that he "Rhodes" would not move under any circumstances within this transfer window,as promotion is their priority. Do any of you think we will be bidding,or more like, it still having AJ & BZ as our albatrosses, comes the seasons end. ? ? ?
I don't know if we'll be bidding, but I've said all along that I don't think Huddersfield will sell during this window. If he does move it's likely to be for a much bigger fee than we would want to pay for a lad of his age and experience. I wouldn't be surprised to see him move in the summer though. I hope we could be in for him then, particularly if he thinks we've got more chance of offering first team football than some of the bigger clubs. Albatrosses? You just can't let it go, can you!
