Just wonder what he thought of our performance in the Transfer window, and if he is still enjoying his time in the Championship now that Blackburn are not in the current running for promotion (early days I know).
He'll be ****ing furiously to the dirty fact he loves Blackburn he probably has a Blackburn shirt on now aiming for the crest
It is early days, but I fully expect them to be in and around the top 6 come the end of the season, there's just too much quality in their side.
I hear you, but on the other hand many a team have been 'too good', had 'too much quality', to go down, let alone get promoted from what is unquestionably the hardest division to go up from. I too think that Rhodes will live to regret not handing in a transfer request, he may well be regretting it already, that's obviously if the boy has any ambition at all.
I don't expect any big money signings in January, not unless Hernandez doesn't work out and we're desperate for a striker.
Which is why I added the bit in brackets. However, the non-transfer must be fresh in his mind and as he looks at the table (as he must) and the Transfer Deadline hype (which he can hardly have avoided), does he regret not having forced the issue? You don't get too many shots at the top flight. I hope he hasn't blown his, but it must be on his mind. Injury, illness, loss of form - anyone of a number of things could block his path. I'd hate to reach old age and be saying "I had the chance to play in the Premier League but didn't take it". I just wonder what his current mind set is? Poor sod.
How does anyone on here know what, if anything he regrets? When did he have the chance? This thread is tittish.
I think he'll be happy knowing the club he plays for wouldn't sell him at any price and have great faith in him. He was happy enough to sign a long contract extension and I bet he still is now.
Maybe so, but then we didn't expect what happened on Monday either, infact this whole transfer window. Even if Harnandez works out, I still think we're one quality striker short (yep, greedy bugger), and we'll be looking to 'trade up' once again.
Since breaking into the first team five years ago, he's never had a bad season and he's still only 24, he'll get his chance and I doubt he's too concerned, he's already on Premier League money. If Blackburn don't get promoted this season, I doubt he'll be there next season.
Good luck to the lad. He hasn't done anything wrong to us. He would have liked to have come to City, but Blackburns owners said no.
I think in the January transfer window our main target could be a Goalkeeper if Harper does become a manager. Possibly a striker if we are in a relegation battle or want to have a strong finish.
