5 goals tonight in 17 mins since his first! Games still going. Great young talent. To think keano didn't think he was good enough for Ipswich and let him go <laugh>. Would be a great signing for us but i doubt we could get him now

He's scored 5 now?? Incredible. Playing out of his skin for the scouts then! Hope we've got one there <laugh>

Yes lets hope so, the fact that Keane didn't think he was good enough probably shows why he had to spend too much money at Sunderland.

8 Premier League scouts watching tonight apparently. I'm unsure about buying lower league players but if it pays off it could be a bargain.

It didn't happen with Beckford so I'd have my doubts about it happening for Rhodes, but I'd certainly take him. Talent. <ok>

I've scored 5 goals in a game before but never made it to ludicrous level.

Thing with beckford he is percieved to have work rate and attitude problems which were clear and was never a clinical striker in the sense you give him 2 shots he'll score 1 goal Rhodes seems like that type of clinical player

Beckford was always overrated anyway. He missed more than he scored. He was lucky to score against Man U.

Becchio was the true star behind Beckford's success that season!

Despite his problems, Beckford did still manage to score 10+ goals last season. Imagine what Rhodes would get...

I'd sign him in a heartbeat. he'd be pretty cheap, so if it doesn't work out, no harm done.

Ah, phrased it badly. I meant that Beckford never signed for us in spite of the press linking us with him non-stop throughout that particular transfer window. But the approach of him failing in the PL works better actually. Yeah, I think he was just unable to adapt to the PL. in fact he ain't doing too great for Leicester...

Beckford was like 27 and doing well in a **** league but that be great in the fizzy pop. If he was any good he would have been in that league at 21. I played with some better players in league one.

No but I've played with a couple of lads that play for Carlisle and Hartlepool.

Can't understand how he's still at Leeds. Good player.

I think that after that game, he is going to cost too much to gamble on, risky, i expect at least a bid of £5m or £6m before Huddersfield accept, and is a League 1 player worth that? and i dont doubt the lads talent but would he be able to do the same to Premier League defenders?
