TMHALF, as you'll see in the post on the 'Paper Talk and Transfers' thread the Reading offer of £2m plus defender Sean Morrison (value -£1m) is well below the Huddersfield valuation of £8m for Rhodes. Both ourselves (£5m plus add ons) and Swansea (£4.5m plus ??) have bids in. The stories going around are that Huddersfield would prefer the Reading offer of Morrison but not without the cash element being sustantially increased. All the paper stuff is simply because Reading took Pog 'from under our noses' and they are running with the headline "Fulham gazzumped again" for the obvious news value. I suspect Rhodes won't arrive at the Cottage because of his wage and his agent's demands. But a done deal to Reading is a way off and we should park the story under that other thread for rumours. For now at least.
