I was just about to make a thread LOL, you beat me to it, luckily I looked the second before I posted it and you had posted the thread. On the subject of Obita, why did we not extend the loan he is a great player and we should have tried to keep him, I think we would have been able to.

They sent him out to get first team football, if he is being taken off despite being the best player on the pitch and not starting games it is hardly worth being here (from a Reading point of view)

I think that might be what they are thinking, however it is beneficial for him to be at Gillingham having a chance of playing every week and hopefully playing most of the games than sitting in the reserves at Reading.

I thought I read somewhere that Hessy had said he was finding the travel a problem.

Best of luck to Jordan for the future.

On a side note though, seriously, why are people having a pop because he didn't play at the weekend. We were up against a BIG strong, physical team, let's just say that if he had of played and then got injured how much would Reading gave thanked us?. Hess made his decision, we got 3 points which at the end of the day is all that matters. Come on guys it's time to get behind the team not stick a knife in at every decision you don't agree with.

Hoadie they were big, even my son thought they were big and he's 6ft 5 <yikes><laugh>

I think I even saw a report somewhere comparing them to a basket ball team. Hence why we had to bring Kuffour off and replace him with Vine.

Ohhh, I was looking at it as the status and position of their side not the build of their players now I am with you on that.

shame Reading did not let him stay as i cannot see him playing for them this season, although i was not impressed in the games at home when he played. I cannot comment on away games as i did not see them apart from the goals.

I certainly wasn't having a pop, you are right Hess is paid to make the decisions (right or wrong) I was merely pointing out that the primary reason for him going out on loan was to play gain first team experience and if he is not getting as many games as Reading would like here...
