Just read this on the Daily Star webiste and I tend to agree with Howson's comments - Howson said : âThe manager points you in the right direction and tells you how he wants you to play. âBut itâs the players who then have to go out and do it. slightly misleading headline there JR! not so much hitting out at our former manager, more a suggestion that we'll be fine without him
Definitely not hitting out at him. But I doubt many supporters put Lambert's successes down to just him. Not going to bother reading the article.

He most certainly did say that - often. It was one of his standard phrases that he used to use when being interviewed by the MOTD commentators!!!
agree that it was not just lambert, but the players and cully and karsa as well. lambert may be in trouble at villa, one of his players may be refused a work permit because of his lack of english. could this also happen to lambert, i hardly ever knew what he was saying.
