HT in the Udinese game and can't help admire his performance, he has been outstanding again! He was playing fantastically before the ridiculous sending off and deserved his place in the team. Just not sure who he will replace, if anyone, when back. We have a midfield of Allen, Sahin and Gerrard for the 1st team atm, but Lucas and Shelvey are both brilliant and deserve a place. Future Liverpool and England great imo.
The bloke on ITV4 reckons it was because he is the only person in his family who doesn't wear glasses, i'm not having any of it.
Unfortunately, that doesn't matter, hence players getting punished for Twitter comments. Obviously, I hope I'm wrong!
While his first half was inspired, his celebration just baffles me. Come on lad, your main criticism is that you're not mentally stable enough to play week in week out - I know he's young but he should be trying to prove that he can keep his head down and not draw controversy. Other than that he looks a real talent this season, under Rodgers he's been a revelation. He's still a bit rough and his first touch is heavy but Rodgers will help him in that aspect.
His celebration could mean anything. He may have had an itchy arse that need rubbing along the grass, and he likes pandas.
He's been doing the glasses celebration for ages. Although after the miss I've just seen he may wanna get some.
Yeah the glasses celebration isn't new, keep up guys... And the two footed celebration could easily be refuted as having anything to do with any particular refereeing decision
You could also say he was just sliding, not meaning any challenge. I've seen him do that before but not noticed the glasses thing.
Pity he turned bollox at half time. He lost his touch and passing, and didn't deserve to see out the full match.
I was referring mostly to his slide tackle, though yeah that could have been a normal slide (certainly looked too awkward to be spontaneous).
