I think Shelvey is a perfecet fit for Rodgers style of play and I think this is good news for the club.
Excellent news. I rate Shelvey massively and as he mentioned in the article, the loan spell to Blackpool did the lad a lot of good. They play some lovely football under Holloway and getting games and goals there will have been a good confidence booster. Did well when he came back and getting your first goal against Chelsea in the way he did was pretty good as well!
i think he improved but needs to do a lot more. his intensity and effort really upped his game late on last year... he needs to keep that going and let his talent come out as a result. showed me something more than a lightweight player last year. hope he can continue to improve
