I have been told this tonight, i cant garentee if its 100% but i when i here things from this person they are 85-90% correct, of course up to you guys to beleive what you like and time will tell us soon enough.

Cant say im gutted if its true though, i think the next appointment we make will be make or break for the club in terms of prem status and i would rather see us invest heavily in a proven manager that can attract top players and has top flight experience. We have the money in place to pay for a proper manager i would prefer we go for something a bit high end then the Wigan assistant coach, in Huw i trust whatever happens anyway .

Thoughts ?? is GJ the man or does Huw have something up his sleeve ??

I have to say that poyet, while being a good manager would if successful do exactly the same as Brenden and Martinez and promptly **** off and leave us in the Lurch, though i guess any manager we have who does well will do the same . Thanks to rodgers and martinez trust is pretty low round these parts right now ! :)

Not necessarily, Norway. Should we maintain our position next season, or even slightly improve it with the new man, then there aren't a glut of clubs that would be a more attractive proposition.

The top six are basically spoken for along with Liverpool (unless Rodgers really fouls up), Everton are settled with Moyes, perhaps Villa with Lambert and Fulham with Jol. I don't see anyone rushing to uproot for the likes of WBA etc.

That, I know, leaves Europe but managers there tend to look to the Premier League rather than the other way round. Perhaps we might not be such a bad proposition at all. And, of course, should we stay up we would be in a good position to improve the salaries for all concerned.

Moyes is an excellent manager , mid table consistency ( bit higher this year which has irked the scousers some what),very limited resources but a great eye for player .He won't set the world alight with what he's got but dam he's trier

I think you are spot-on with this Norway. Jones now out to around 4-1, Poyet and Laudrup both around 5-1 and Holloway around 6-1. Others 17-1 and up. So looks like we might get Poyet or Laudrup, and I'd be happy with either of those. Laudrup will be free, so looks like he could be Huw's choice.

If we got Laudrup i think Siggy would be more likely to sign, he is a legend

No doubt that Laudrup might be a huge incentive for Siggy to sign. Both are midfielders and "Nordic" types.
