    Absolutely clueless

Has to be the worst appointment in premier league history. Made the worst team in the league 10x worse.

    Just horrendous.

He’s not going to save us, so the question is: do we want him managing us in the Championship?

We are down. It doesn't matter if we recruit Pochettino. The damage has been done.

I can handle relegation. What I can't handle is watching the slow death of this football team over the next five months.

So get rid of this truly incompetent manager, and slap Ankersen in the f*cking mouth.

    Massive, massive De Boer vibes.

Get him gone. Two months and you can't tell a single thing he's been working on other than the long ball.

Trying to play a system without the players to do so, making odd selections and not learning from mistakes, constantly talking the club down in the press and completely and utterly uninspiring to fans, players and prospective players alike.

He isn't the man to keep us in the league this season and he sure as hell shouldn't be allowed to hang around for the next one.

Exactly this. His brand of football is absolutely horrific.

Even if we go down, how can anyone want to watch this utter ****e

Ye I think I’ve seen enough. Wanted to give him a chance to prove people wrong, but we’ve regressed somehow.

Awful to watch, and bearing no fruits at all.

What’s he said in the press?

    This.

And Solak should boot Ankersen for it too.

Was just discussing this on WhatsApp.

There'll soon come a time where Solak turns to Ankersen and goes: so I bought this investment opportunity for £120m on your say so, shovelled £80m in to 'strengthen' the squad, I'm clearing someone else's debt, paying all the overheads and paying you to run it all... and you've taken it from 15th to 20th?

People like Solak don't get to where they are by being the nice guy who gets taken for a ride and doesn't mind.

He can forcibly shove Ankersen's computer where the sun don't shine tbh.

Will be the most one sided poll ever.

It’s just utterly frustrating that SR have handled this so poorly. We’re an established Premier League Club, who’ve invested 70 (could’ve been 100 if goal scorer was purchased) million in the summer, and yet have an enormous mountain to climb to stay in this league.

Wish it wasn’t dry jan. Cups of tea aren’t cutting it.

I'm not quite at the point of calling for him to go but I certainly can't defend what we've seen so far and if he does go I won't complain.

Yeah that second half has done me too I think.

That moment @thereisonlyoneno7 pointed out when he was asking his assistant what to do and was looking around. Just looked completely lost and like he completely underestimated the size of the job (as in how bad we are) and he doesn't believe.

I feel a bit sorry for him really. Think he'd have had more chance had it been in the Summer but was always going to struggle coming in at the point he did and with these opening fixtures. With his wife n family all being Saints fans it must be ****ing dreadful for him too.

Let's not resort to abusing him though as it's certainly not his (or Ralphs for that matter) fault. Absolutely appalling management from Semmens and SR over the last 10 months or so.

I was thinking about his in-laws and wondering if they visit forums like this. Tough time for them.

Good point, Libs. It's very easy to reach for the abuse trigger when it's like this, but it's not actually his fault that he's crap.
