Theres a rumour on the Leeds board that Jones & Jerome are to sign on loan to L.U.F.C. Jones yes, Jerome not sure we shud lose him. Any thoughts lads.
SS, Anything to back this up, sounds far fetched to me, I can see them wanting Jerome but why would they want Jones?
Not heard anything apart from Pennant going (on loan) to Wolves.. Jones yes, he's not worth his place. But Cameron Jerome why the hell would Pulis do that.. puzzled but we're talking about T.P... personally, I would keep Pennant anyway.
Because it makes sense to TP! The new formation is only 1 upfront and with Owen on the bench and Walters playing the wing he can justify it! It would make more sense to let Jefome go because TP will never play him (though we all think this is ****) than KJ in case crouch gets injured.
I will personally drive Kenwyn Jones up to Leeds myself if I knew he wouldnt play for Stoke again!. How Jerome has been treated he will be going to the first club that shows interest in him, and I wouldnt blame him one bit. Tp would play Walters if he had one leg, last season there were plenty of opportunites to play Jerome (when Walters was in poor form) but he never did, and with all of the new players signed in the summer Jerome must be going in January.
Ricc , This is one of "that man's" biggest failings Jerome has not been given any chance at all, just like others who have come before him, p*ss poor man management!!
Tuncay? Kitson? Pennant? now Jerome?? NOW I know Kitson was hacked off/homesick whatever other excuse's TP came up with but... Just when I thought we have a decent squad. It seem's that with PULIS if you face does not fit or you cross him, you are out the door! So let's just put this to the others on here why is it that... Ether's had problems re betting etc.. we paid his dues for him I believe, or some of it. Fuller Smacks our then Captain Andy G at W Ham but Fuller stays? Tuncay say's I don't like being subbed boss and throws a hissy fit ( I don't blame him one bit) he's out the door. W T F has Jerome done that's upset Pulis? I guess I've missed out a few the last few seasons who have come and gone, so to cut to the chaff.. WHY, WHY, WHY does this keep happening... thoughts? Cos IF Jerome leaves I think it's a bad move by Pulis. Jowler it is P*** Poor and I would be P***** off if we sold/loaned out Jerome.
Potts, I don't know why Jerome's face doesn't fit but the lack of playing time speaks for itself. there have been times when we have been crying out for a forward with a bit more zip about him but it seems it is not to be, I can see why he would go if another team asked about him, if fact I can't think of a reason that he should stay, he has been bought and sold down the river by the management team that he trusted enough to sign for, he's not the first and it's odd's on he won't be the last, I feel sorry for him and really hope "that man" doean't have a falling out with any of our new recruits!!!
I'd prefer Walters. He's class. Strong, quick nad got a football brain from the little I have seen of him. Go on, you know you want to help little ol' Leeds
I cannot understand why Jerome hasn't been given more of a chance by Pulis. Why did he buy him in the first place if he is not prepared to give him a decent run in the team? Tuncay was maybe bought to enable us to get Huth, Palacios likewise to ensure we got Crouch but this was not the case with Jerome. I think it would be stupid to sell him but I can see him wanting to leave in January.
We've been over this before guys, Pulis will always pick Walters over Jerome, because of his work rate and strength, and he adds more weight to the defensive side of the team. TP has alway been cautious, even though now we are trying to play more football, he wants more players in midfield to hold on to the ball, which is why we play a more pf a 'utility player' like Walters over Jerome. As for other players that we've ****ed up on, I think there are all decent enough reasons behind them. Not so sure on Pennant, but it seems most of the problems have been his fault, but I'm hopeful that his loan is to get him back in the picture and provide some competition, as I'd have thought if we wanted rid of him he'd be gone to the first bidder, Kitson as Potts said was homesick and never looked like he wanted to play. And I think we DID actually want Tuncay, I think Pulis saw him as one of the players who would help us "evolve" but he was too free and couldn't be held to a position, which is why his chances were limited, and I think that shows in the other clubs he's been at. He was a very classy looking player, but has never really got anything done where ever he's been, failed spell at Wolfsburg, failed loan at Bolton, I don't even know where he plays now.
When you are sitting 10 feet behind TP and you see him shake his head and not celebrate when Tunny scores one of the goals of the season, you have a slightly different view on the grand master!
