What thoughts go through the mind in those idle moments ! forget 3 - 5 -2 we could play .. . . . confusing football! 4 - 2 - 4 4 - 3 - 3 3 - 4 - 1 - 2 4 - 4 - 2 4 - 3 - 1 - 2 4 - 1 - 3 - 2 THE IDEA OR MINE ANYWAY WITH THE 3 - 5 - 2 was we occupy the opposing defence by keeping 2, 3 or 4 players up and last season our back 3 worked one scenario Kodija and Cox up front Bennet Freeman ? ? Ayling Flint Little Baker in the middle do you go 3 +1 in front (or behind) or 4 ? HEY ITS GOING TO BE A REAL GUESS IT FOR THIS GAME AGAINST FLOREST and not just for us
....................Fielding Ayling......Flint.....Baker.......Bryan/Moore .......................Smith Bennett........Freeman/Reid......Freeman/Bryan ............cox............Kodjia Agard on 70 minutes in for a bit of pace and use Reid if unused in starting XI
Reid needs to start ahead of Pack. Pack has offered us nothing defensively or offensively so far this season, Reid has done enough to earn his place. Fielding Ayling Flint Baker Bennett Reid Smith Freeman Bryan Kodjia Cox
I have to agree, and i am no fan of reid ,neither are good enough to play championship football. We need a replacement before Friday.
All things for all people, I am a fan of Reid, given play time this young man is going to be a winner..
He is not strong enough, does not dictate play, looses the ball, and as the game goes on looses his way. Plymouth in the fourth division is not championship standard, bear in mind he could not get into our league 1 side, as was the same for Burns at Oxford.
Jesus can you say anything positive about city. Reid and wes will do well given the chance they are good enough for this league. league 1 different kettle of fish to championship played in completely different way. All the times I've seen Reid he's changed the game in our favour when coming on or been the one getting us going forward
I have to agree with tigger... there is always a few that can never see the bigger picture Roy Hodgson for instance, in an interview when asked about Rooney and the vast number of fans who had been complaining about him.. " what people do not see, because he is not scoring a goal or 2 every game is the subtle touch's and moves he makes, creating chances and space etc" not comparing our players with Rooney but the younger players like Burns and Reid are a work in progress, there were some who made similar comments about Joe! Now they have qualified expect Wales to maybe give some international time to Reid ... The Plymouth fans stated when he wasn't there they lost the edge he gave them! and OK "div 4" and international are miles apart, but only less than a year in time!
Burns is Welsh mate But like you and Tiger stated I think the same in Reid. Division 3 & 4 is all about rush rush rush. But some players are more suited to more space like you get in the championship.
Congratulations to the Welsh rugby & football teams but I've got to laugh all the media is celebrating the triumphant Welsh weekend when both of their teams got well and truly thumped...
Still got there Wiz, but "well and truly thumped" is not exactly the comment I would use. Rugby was all about an Australian masterclass at defence, even Jonny Wilkinson said it was as much the Welsh forwards and well as the defence that kept him on the edge of his seat. Football conceding two goals late on when it was a dull game till then that no one deserved to lose let alone win. It's still all about the tables at the end of the day, and both show Wales qualified. Like City last year, I've never seen us win a league, last night I saw Wales qualify for a major tournement. Will we win, will we **** but it's still the feeling of qualification. I can now go into a major tournement and feel some pride, like you lot have constantly had.
WELL Reid ought to be as well he only lives a couple miles from the border! Thanks for putting me right I really thought he was Welsh ...
