    This might not of been noticed by many, but when Marv went down after the collision Jon Stead immediately put him in the recovery position. Top man for acting so fast <ok>

    Stead worked as hard if not harder than any City player. Top man who never hides while on the pitch.

    If the choice were up to me I'd make Stead our captain. I originally thought that he was a poor choice for us, but he's always been the model professional and I think he'd lead by example if we gave him a crack at the armband.

    Jon Stead gives 100% and chases down lost causes, but his problem this season has been Steve Davies and Ryan Taylor, he is not in the same league as Davies and with Taylor I think we have a good prospect not the finished artical but getting there.
    I think for those reasons we will see the Jon Stead here until next summer possibly January if we get a fee for him.

    We are in the process of replacing he older ones with youth, but I for one will be grateful to Jon Stead for his service to the club <ok>
