I said in a post yesterday, "Jon Stead" I just cant get excited!

Well, Your first touch is shocking and you are woeful at hiding the ball away Jon..

But you ran your sack off last night, that was just the sort of work rate we need up there against good sides to stop them dictating the game against us, fair play mate I thought you were MOM and deserved your goal. Linked up well with Pitman too.

Also, great atmosphere by the fans last night, really lifted the players and at 2-2 we kept the faith and roared them on again.

Who ever decided to play Muse, knights of Cydonia before the game last night and left it playing practically to kick off, that was a master stroke. I really noticed it lift me inside and changed my attitude to the game.

It was nice to leave the Gate last night with a big smile..

I saw that comment Banksy and it somewhat surprised me.

Stead for me has always given 100% on the field. He may have not had the best of nights winning headers and trapping the ball but as you say he run his balls off. Caused mayhem and deserved his goal. First name on my team sheet!

He was immense against Blackpool and now against Leicester. My friends who support Baadiff hate him too because he always scores against them and moans that they make him look like Messi lol. Here's hoping for more of the same this Saturday then!

Agree on Knights of Cydonia - masterstroke! They played it pre-Blackpool too.

Last night the atmosphere was unbelievable though. We all pulled together and supported the team. There was no moaning even when we went 1-0 down and when they made it 2-2. That's the kind of support we need every week irrespective of our position.

I have never doubted Steads commitment that's all we need is players that sweat blood for the badge, the other player I feel is like that is Skuse.

Did any of you get tempted to air guitar?

I think Jon Stead has been a credit to this club, and to himself in the way he has conducted his business.
Toys stayed in pram, even though he has spent most of this season on the sidelnes.
He is BCFC through and through, and I would make him MY number 9 every time. There is a bit of The Cheese about the man

Did anyone see the big bloke at the front of the Dolman pick up the ball when it went out for a throw, pretend to give to Peltier and then throw it down the line?

Peltier spat at him and then the other bloke tried to headbutt him?

    all very heated last night.
