We've surmised about Kasami in a number of posts recently and of course even when we were bereft of mid-fielders last Sunday, Alex Smith was chosen ahead of him. Today Jol has made it clear that the young player has an attitude problem and need to sort himself out. Jol said -

Jol's comments at this time, have come about because there have been no bids to take Kasami on loan and the emergency loan window closes on Thursday.

I think for some of these kids, this is their first experience riding the pine. Probably from the age of 6 they've been the uber-talented stars of every team they've ever played for, so sitting and watching is a new kind of experience for them. It's part of life, though, and if Berbatov can patiently ride the pine (at ManU), then they should be able to as well.

all the time he has attitude he won't play. His family or team mates should be telling him this! It's not rocket science after all. Jol is absolutely right, team over player. Even Berba knows this and he is the coolest thing since sliced bread after all! Gawd bless him!

As I said a few ago now it is his moment. If Kasami is smart enough he needs to prove it now. This crisis might be his moment...

It's hard for us to judge as we don't see him in training and can only go on Jol's judgement as to why he's not being picked. Sadly, I think this will be the end of him. Etuhu and Zamora both had attitude problems and were promptly shown the door soon after.

I think maybe Kasami has a bit more hope than Etuhu and Zamora. The fact Big Mart says he brought him here and he's his player, coupled with the fact Kasami's about 10 years younger than Dicko and Zamora seems to go in his favour. I can't say it doesn't look bleak for him though, as Madness says, his time to shine is now and it doesn't look like he's going to get an opportunity easily.

Kasami has been so frustrating to watch during his time at FFC. He clearly has potential but lacks discipline on the pitch. When Jol played him on the right of midfield he showed that he is unable to hold his position. He roamed all over the pitch and was more often playing in the middle. This may be because he wanted to play in the middle but none the less, at premiership level this is not good enough. I hope he learns from players like Berbatov and Ruiz rather than try to oust them.

Jol did say this Bidley but he qualified it with, "if he's really fed up with it we will find a solution".

Describes his problem exactly, frogman. Even with the U21 side it was all about 'him', never the team. It's a real pity because he has the football potential but as you say, the premiership is about more than that.

Could mean he wants to stick him on loan? But we're arguing semantics, I hope he bucks his ideas up and starts playing again!

I really don't think sending someone out on loan who has an attitude problem is a fix for the solution. In my opinion, in our current injured plagued situation, we need to be keeping central midfielders to replace Diarra/Richardson/Tavares etc who are all unable to play right now. The fact that Jol is continuing to tout him to other teams in my opinion shows that his time here is up. I think if we can find a permanent buyer in January then he will go.

On the sauce again Banders? :D

You're all probably right, I'm just clutching at straws really. I still think that shipping him off permanently isn't a solution, more running away from the problem, but that's probably what will happen.

Is Jol touting him to other clubs?

Haha I wish. Just been a long ass day. Ever been to Cwmbran? Horrible place.

There have been a few articles this season where Jol has basically issued 'come and get him' pleas to other clubs, stating he's looking for a Championship team to take him on loan. Not exactly touting but maybe advertising may have been a better word.
