Jol was not at Motspur Park for today's training session. Wonder why?

    PS Lew was in charge

    Had a dentist appointment <ok>

MAF is fuming, says 'Jol needs to organise things around his work, not the other way round'

Maybe he was having talks with our new striker and/or right back!

Think the dentist is more likely though...

I know I always say we should look to find future stars rather than buy established ones, but signing Martin Jol's dentist is a step too far! At least we should limit ourselves to professionals with a more physically line of work, such as tree surgeons.

Ha ha! I am now waiting for the headline on SSN "Fulham to sign Dutch striker D. Entist for undisclosed fee".

Many a true word is spoken in jest.

Jol ought to let his imagination catch up with the reality of the strengths, and weaknesses, of his current squad.

Everone, pundits included, agrees that a manager should be given time (2-3 years?) to build "his" team. Jol's apparent perception that he can change systems and personel overnight is to say the least, rash.
