    MackemsRule made a good article on the Sunderland board regarding joint threads and the amount that are being posted. It is annoying to see so many of them, some are very good, like the one Syd wrote: 'At the end of the day', but some are just pure wummery and not funny at all.

    The main aim of the joint thread was for match days, and it's pretty safe to say, the winner of tomorrow's game will bombard the other with these threads, and it's up to us MODs to keep them low. I can't stop Sunderland fans coming here to gloat if they win, bit I will be removing the article if it just turns abusive, and I am sure the Sunderland MODs will do the same.

    Try and keep the level of joint threads down please, it's what the matchday thread is all about. We understand that we can all get carried away with derby fever, but after the game is going to be horrible for one set of fans, gloat if we win, but take it easy with the joint threads, if they are similar to what have been done before or just pointless, they will be removed.

    Cross board threads were always going to be a recipe for disaster anyway (except for in the case of the sexy poll of course)

    they're a waste of time, we should can them pronto.
    some of the time a lot of the **** threads bump down the good ones thereby diluting the look of the whole board...
