    Hallelujah, someone has finally noticed....!!!

Been our problem since about 2006 (so includes LJ era), this was always my issue about how incisive football we play.

Trouble is, our forward(s)/midfield stopped rushing into the box literally years ago because, the ball never came early, if ever at all..

This is the life blood of strikers, sort this out and we'll be fine so long as we re-train our players to make runs into the box expecting the ball to come

i agree Prem', i am a Jimmy fan, but today he wound me right up, he had many chances (probably most of 10 LJ counted), and a few times we actually had men in the box for a change. our play in the last third is really shocking at moment.
From the start i didn't like one up front on own, and whilst i like Reid and Bryan, our midfield was too lightweight today imo. We looked second to everything, and sluggish all over the park, don't think i could see us scoring now if we were still playing thf!

Sooner or later , it will be a while, but it will end in tears.

Cheap option and Lansdown - you've got Joe Pesqualle - what you deserve.

Do you not think that the other culprit is worth a mention? You know who I mean surely?
The one who tries to play every game as if it is his ball and he is the only one that can play with it.

And another point. Mark Little did pretty well at right back today. In fact I thought the back four did alright throughout. Yet the one who subbed Little, that many fans rate as a wonder player, so easily allowed the left midfield Cardiff player to cut inside on his favoured right foot and thunder a shot on to the bar, via O'Donnell's save that gave Cardiff a tap in for the second goal.

Johnson is right. Too many not moving the ball on quickly. We created nothing dangerous today and last week's euphoria looks somewhat fragile with the gap now down to five points. Seems I and many were too optimistic to soon?

Reid had a poor game.I like Bryan in midfield and was combative, but only for the first half. Somehow,in the middle of the park, he still manages to drift out of the game.
    Tomlinson stood out. Different class.

My criticism is of Lansdown, not Junior (although very disappointed with Saturday's hoof ball).
If his decision is correct it will have nothing to do with Junior's CV or managerial capability.
    It will be luck.
City fans pray it's the latter.

I hope come Saturday night we still have a decent cushion or the pressure will be back on.
Junior's far worse than Marmite to City fans and stupid of Lansdown to heap unnecessary pressure on a very difficult task.
    It's folly to say otherwise.

One way traffic with you Redprintt, the hate you have for the Johnsons is a bit obsessive imo.
Last week according to you after the Forest win it was down to JP, the defeat against Cardiff is down to LJ.
So I imagine according to you, we stay up it's down to luck, we go down it's down to the poor decisions of LJ...
In your eyes he can do no right!

    It was :
'We lost because we played football from the dark ages.
I'd blame the midfield if we tried to play through them but all we did was 'Hoof it', the ball sailing over them 40 feet in the air.
Aimed at Kodija - I ask you what manual did that come out of. You play to players strength not his weakness.
All this from a 'new age coach'.'

Take the blinkers off - Do you disagree with these comments ?

ps - You are either being deliberately obtuse or missed out on comprehension.
In case you missed my comment today - 'My criticism is of Lansdown, not Junior.

1For - 'according to you, we stay up it's down to luck'
I apologise if I'm not making myself clear.

The 'luck' I refer is to Lansdown's appointment of Junior - ie if it's successful it will be Lansdown's luck not Junior's CV.
Luck will have no part in Junior's managerial time with us during games.
I will say Junior's an incredibly lucky boy to join us at a time when our Black Arab friends will provide, at last, some competition.
He will be given a war chest this summer like we haven't seen for a long time, possibly ever.
We both hope he uses it wisely.

And that being the case, is Adam Hammill from Barnsley as identified by LJ what we really want to take us forward next season ?

I'm sure Ashton will be able to veto the move if he doesn't rate him, which if he does, will illustrate what a poorly thought through set up Lansdown has put in place in terms of management.

I'm not sure, I can't remember seeing him to give an opinion.
To be fair/objective to Junior didn't he recommended Korey Smith, currently our best player.
We'll have to wait and see with fingers crossed.

I cant disagree with this comment . various media outlets have comments since SC LEFT JUNIOR HAS .... since junior arrived City have .... I think the first signs of junior beginning to take the reins started on Saturday, and it failed .. .. .. Cardiff loved it, let them have possession to hoof it here there and everywhere .. then cashed in on opportunities ... we may be in the second league ..but the managers have a lot of savvy and sometimes that is all you need from time to time win 3 or 4 draw 3 or 4 lose 3 or 4 and your job is relatively safe ..TIC ..
JP/W/E knew exactly what to do the moment SC went and did it we jumped out of the zone and got a cushiontaking us from 3 behind Rthrm, and 2 behind MKD TO 3 in front of Rthrm and level with MKD.
ARGUABLY YOU COULD SAY THAT THE GAME against Ipswich was moreso JP /WE "FORMULA" as Junior openly stated I NEED A COUPLE OF GAMES to make assessments ... and the line up and game plan was pretty much the same ... giving nether credit for Ipswitch Junior is W2 L2 ... still better than SC but now the clock TICKS ........

I have no problem with criticisms of LJ, Don't worry, I will put my knife in if we have many Cardiff games. But with any manager I will have the decency to give him at least a dozen games to get his head around the players we have and what we forget, they are NOT his players...He needs to keep us up, whatever it takes this season. If he fails, I imagine he will get booted.
I hope he manages at least for a dozen games of next season in the championship with players he has influence on. We would then see, if he has what it takes at the higher level.....Fail and i will be shouting as loud as the haters.....

If he does fail (I hope he doesn't btw) then given for some obscure reason he was appointed on a 3.5 year contract, then that'll cost Lansdown a few quid to get rid of him.

I still don't understand why after making yet another mess of it with the timing of SC's sacking, the Board didn't appoint Warnock until the end of the season to allow some time for reflection and proper recruitment.

I wasn't a LJ hater when he was a player, far from it, but I do question the wisdom of the owner in the appointment to start with when we could probably have done better.

"AMAZED BY THE QUALITY OF THE PEOPLE PUTTING THEIR NAMES FORWARD" that was phrase wasn't it

this must have been a general statement that the names coming forward were of poor or low quality as opposed to high quality experienced types?
