Hope this works, found it on Loft for Words forum.....to call it reckless is an understatement, not sure how he stayed on the pitch and why we weren't awarded a penalty.......

Amazing how everyone else seems to get away with this sort of stuff, but I'm sure if it had been us (e.g. Zamora's famous drop kick) we would have likely had the player red carded and also suffered a penalty kick as a consequence.

Here's another selection of photos of the incident, that I actually missed during the match, and wondered what had happened with Sandro showing those marks - this explains it - he should have got a red card and us a penalty kick.

Think the ball also hit his arm which stopped it going in! Double sending off!

 

I think it was instinctive rather than malicious but, of course, that doesn't matter in terms of it being "card-able". Like the referee, I missed it at the time because there was so much going on but there's no doubt it was an X-rated, red card offence.

That makes our defeat probably more bizarre now!

 

Should have been a penalty and red card. Unfortunately all happened so quickly the linesman could not get into line to see. Oh for TV challenges.
