Yeovil Town manager has shown his annoyance in his clubs transfer day business by arriving late prior to their JPT 3-1 defeat to Portsmouth and departing soon after the match leaving Skiverton to talk with the press.
In a situation which begs most clubs fans to question why the clubs chairman would go on holiday during one of the most vital times of a clubs year, Johnson now must wait until Fry (Chairman) returns to discuss a way forward.

Hmmm a chairman on holiday during the transfer day, sound familiar? Perhaps this infliction is something that only affects some Westcountry teams.

Didn't I read somewhere that Johnson said that this Yeovil contract would be his last in football. Also that his wife was pressing that he get out of football all together as soon as possible.

So presumably that is football 'speak' meaning that Mr Johnson is on his way to manage a different football club quite soon.

seriously?? the chairman was on holiday during the last day of the transfer market being open?? thats just crazy!

but still that doesnt give the manager the right to turn up when he wants on a match day and leave when he wants without adressing his team and dealing with his press responibilities. thats not acting professional but instead that is throwing his toys out the pram because he didnt get his own way!

he needs to realise that relegations cost money like we have had to realise. he cant just click his fingers and expect money when his supports cant be assed to turn up in numbers to support their team. surely their budget must be very low and they have been punching far above their weight for ages so he has to understand this. to expect money and more signings is wrong and throwing his toys out the pram about it by not being there for his team for a game that could lead up to a potential cup run, which could bring money into the club, is just pathetic. hope he gets sacked.

I agree that his behaviour (at least from what we have heard) was childish.

No WUM, but he would do a great job for you guys if Clarke goes? Perhaps you need a manager who would stand up to Higgs?

    smhbcfc <ok>

i personally dont want him. you could give the job to sir alex and he wont be able to help us. therefore i think giving the job to an ex red will be a big mistake because WHEN it fails (which it will do with anay manager) that just gives some fans a reason to abuse the manager (agent red at it again) and this abuse will make the atmosphere even more poisonous.
