just been watching the news from gay Paris there. Massed demonstrations, petrol bombs, people lobbing cobblestones at ‘les flics’. Proper mayhem. Now as a law abiding believer in the democratic process I am of course against this sort of thing. But it must be said that nos camarades Gauloises do know how to hold a riot. Maybe a bit more of that over here and we wouldn’t have to tolerate a bunch of chinless old Etonian ****ers lording it all over us. Meanwhile back in Blighty, the rail firms announce a 3.6% price increase following a year of appalling services. Reminds me of an Italian guy I had a conversation with in the 80’s, when fares were going up then but wages weren’t. He said, they’d never get away with that in Italy, there’d be riots. Makes you think.
Start a riot. I can issue a carpark fight tickets free of charge. On a serious note look what happened with the last rioting, the judges sent them all down to 2 years, even if they did very little.
Yep. This has pissed me off no end. Every train I've been on for the last few months, has either turned up about half an hour late, or arrive half an hour late making me miss connections. Two trains haven't even bothered to show up, at all.
