Hope is evaporating as quickly as it came, John Ward has been very open and honest on how difficult it is to get players in through the door to help escape the trap door.

So it looks as if our lack of financial clout and current position is stopping us recruiting a decent striker and defender or any other players to come to our rescue.

OMG we are left with loanee striker Tom (not impressed) and Richards (get a grip) to score how did we get into this awful mess.

Sorry CJ who cares about the new stadium not any of the 77 players Ward has tried already to recruit its all sizzle and no substance.

Still three weeks before the window closes by then given our fixture list we could be deeper in the mire or still in touch with the relegation fodder fingers crossed well everything crossed!!

Its not looking great for our survival Gasheads

Blimey COR - I thought I was depressed!

We've still got 21 days to get people in - sure , it will be difficult but I believe we will get out of this mess with JW at the helm.

We need Clarkson back and Richards to apply himself and I reckon we'll be fine <ok>

Given finances suggest we will end up picking up some loans at the close of the transfer window, assume Tom will return to his club, Lund will not reappear (his return to his parent club due to poor handling by Ward dissapointing).

Agree we need Clarkson back with another decent striker alongside him looks as if his injury is taking longer to repair than first thought or perhaps upset at MM sacking as he was the reason he joined us!.

Not depressed dissapointed in the teams performances especially Sat they could have played all day and not scored with 2 strikers on the field lots of running about no end product in the final third.

I just feel that it is slipping away without the Rovers team fighting for all they are worth....we need another Rammell who knows where the goal is and can hold the ball up,giving all for the cause.

I still think Richards would get a few more goals if he played in the hole behind the front players rather than out wide.Clarkson can also play up front, particularly with the guy from Colchester in midfield.

There must be a few Conference players who wouldn't mind the step up. Inverness CT have picked up a few recently from Wrexham and Newport. One of them used to play for Mangotsfield. They're doing pretty well in the Scottish Prem.

It's a lot to pay for someone who's fairly untried.Oh dear, he'll probably run us ragged and get a hatrick...
