JM: I will not only follow them but I will support them. The club, the players and the fans are now like part of my family so I will be concerned with what happens there. I will be rooting for the Black Cats that’s for sure.


Shame he couldn't of stayed fit as he was briliant on his day and one of the best centre backs we have had in a long long time, good luck to the bloke,

When fit and match fit he was among the best in the league - he looked awesome in the last World Cup, I've never seen anyone time his tackles so well and confidently. It's such a tragedy as he is so very, very good.

I'm sure he'd get a fantastic reception at the SOL upon his return. I hope he can stay fit and pull on a football shirt for a few more seasons.
