Think Clyne, Fonte & Bertrand all have a chance of making the final cut. JT obviously didn't enjoy playing against Super Mane. Think his first half at their place was one of his best.

He's picked a good team there. Fair play to him.

Seen a couple of people now saying Fonte coul be in team of the year.

Personally I think Alderwieireld has been better than him this season

Since they made him skipper Fonte seems to have stepped up a gear or two. It has done his international career no harm either.

Neither player has had anything but a great season. TBF Fonte has been incredibly reliable without missing barely a game while Toby had a decent spell on the sidelines. Fonte has been brilliant. Just as he was last year. It'd be rough if he was put in the shadow of his offsider for a second season : )

Good players, maybe, but a good team? I don't think a midfield consisting of Mata, Coutinho, Sterling and Mane would function very well. :D
