So he has gone back to Huddersfield! Will miss his commitment and drive at City. One of the few who gave 100% in his time at the gate. I wish him well at his new club.
It was quite sad to see him leave. Then reading his twitter yesterday made it feel like a family member you will never see again.... Wish him well. Couldn't ask for a better representative for our club from a player.
Don't do twatter, but seems that he enjoyed his time at City and says it's the closest he got to fans. So yes sad loss. Let's hope Taylor can fill his boots.
Sad day to lose Steady A heart and soul player, who gave them for our club. No little talent, a hugely likable player, our best signing since Maynard (remember he ?)
Glad things worked out for him. Always did try hard and was committed.- I ran the Bristol 10k this year and saw him at the start. He shook hands, wished me good luck and posed for a photo. Nearly caught him up towards the end, but he accelerated away in the last mile. Good luck to him. Top person, wish there were more like him.
I can only echo what's been said already. When he went on the stag do, his mates could of chosen a host of clubs for strips to wear to wind him up from clubs near his hometown, but they choose a Gashead kit. Which proves he held our club in his heart! He was my choice for captain to show others you don't have to be the best you just try to play your best for the club. When I met him outside the ground one day he posed for a photo with my daughter, but he also chatted to her to make her laugh so the photo looked better.
