bizarrely, i felt (wba game excepted and maybe wigan - we were very nervous that day) it was probably our poorest performance on Saturday, which makes the result even better, especially when you combine this with the fact liverpool played very well!
Liverpool's line up was intended to be nearly all out attack and they simply stopped us playing for large chunks of the game with one wave followed closely by another so I am not sure we were too bad, just on the back foot for 30 minutes or so in the first half and again the last 10 minutes or so.
We did, however, give the ball away far too easily on many occasions which allowed Liverpool to come forward once again. Perhaps it was a little bit of fear or nerves creeping in.
