Seems we are getting everyone from Forest

 

People in any industry will choose to employ those they may have worked with before, or have known of in a similar position and someone you are able too trust to work with you and not be forever trying to knock you out of your position.
Some may call it a form of nepotism but it's a safer way of recruitment than just advertising the job and getting loads of applications from those you've never heard of and/or don't want to work with anyway.
If SO'D's new assistant comes from Forest or Timbuktu, what does it matter so long as he works well for Bristol City.

 

If we are getting everyone from Forest does that mean we keep paying them fees? that was my point didn't we have to pay compensation to get our previous assistant manager or did he leave before signing for us?

 

He must of made lots a friends in his 5 months at Florist. Wish he would get us Billy Sharp

 

You wishhnhh i would love sharp here you can keep your baldocks and davies sharp is a different league.

 

I personally think davies is better than sharp.

I remember him as a player, but didn't know he was now in management

 

I can vaguely remember him, wasn't he a bit of a hard tackling midfielder or am I getting him mixed up with someone else?

 

Pemberton is confirmed on City's website this morning.

 

Heard the name before.. he must of done the rounds at many clubs

 

Played most of his football at Palace, Sheff U and Leeds.

Looks like the reason for leaving was the traveling then.

 

I remember him from Leeds and Wales as a decent hard working player. Hopefully he is the right man for the job as think the assistant manager can player more of a key role at a club than the actual manager as usually the assistant who supports the manager with the first team but is also responsible for making sure all the other parts of teh club are working which is probably why he has been brought in because of his experience with working with the youth system as guess City will hope that he will be able to help bring players through the system
