According to Wikipedia: "His family name is Paintsil but at birth, it was registered as Pantsil. This then appeared on his passport and his registration with the Premier League." Looks like his parents missed out the "i" on registering his birth!
Stabbed in the upper eye lid? Jesus christ. If I had to be stabbed, i'd be stabbed anywhere but there (well, excluding the knob and bollocks). Makes me cringe thinking about it.
