Played quite a few games for Ghana in the Africa Cup of Nations, does anyone think he'll ever play for us?
I doubt it. He isn't as versatile as Peltier or Moore and with only 5 subs allowed you really have to have versatility. So unless we see either injured then I can't see him getting a game.
I think he'll be moved on in the summer. He's probably on high wages as well and we stupidly gave him a 3 year deal despite the fact he's 31. He's behind Peltier and Moore in the pecking order so I'd be surprised if he played again for us.
No disrespect but he´s one of the dead woods that WILL be leaving in the summer. So it´s... Mills Pansil Howard Vassel Oakley... To be continued All IMO.
I dont think you can class Matt Mills as deadwood, he is still a very good player, he just cant pass and has a bit of an ego problem, I cant see him leaving anytime soon as no one will be able to afford him. We will want about 3M for him and no one is stupid enough to pay that for him unless Sven gets a job somewhere. No one is going to meet his wages to take him on loan either. If he sorts himself out and apologises Nigel might give him another chance like he did with St. Ledger. Mills is still a very good defender. But St. Ledger was about to be sold to Ipswich but we ran out of defenders so he had to play and he did well and Nigel forgave him. With Matt Mills we wont be running out of defenders now with Wes Morgan coming in and Sol Bamba returning. I still think Sol Bamba will be leaving in the summer, i dont think we have seen the end of Matt Mills yet Deadwood- Weale, Pantsil, Oakley, Howard, Berner, Johnson and Vassell

He seen Mills in with the Derby fans on Thursday & heard him singing "you don´t know what you´re doing" with ref to him being left out.
Just on this subject of who's likely to leave, who is actually out of contract come July? I'm guessing Oakley and Howard and maybe a few of the kids but anyone else? Would the others mentioned leave or go elsewhere without a big golden handshake? Boy oh boy our club has wasted some money!
I know it's all down to form and the choice of the manager, just seems a shame really to have a player with obvious ability who was playing well for premier league Fulham just a year ago, who's captained a decent international team, and in my honest opinion at his Fulham standard is a better RB than Peltier.
