Match drawn but wor lad was very knowledgeable.

Pissed me off though as they only had footage of him in Man Utd colours. Don't know when it was recorded mind.
Might have been in the summer before if signed?

The last time we had anyone on there was Peter Reid I think.

Yes he was very good. He knew about quite a lot of sports and he was really competitive, which I guess is a good thing in a professional sportsman!

I don't like the programme since they started doing those stupid games and things though and I really cannot stand Matt Dawson. I don't know what is wrong with a fairly straightforward sports quiz without all that stuff. It used to be quite entertaining without all the gimmicks, back in the 'olden' days.

This show has just got worse and worse since Botham and beaumonts days.
Hieronymus hit the nail on the head, the quiz has become a silly joke of a show. the behaviour of the team captains makes me cringe with embarrassment. oh and Matt Dawson is a complete bell end. Have you noticed how many tv showdown the little **** turns up on these days! The guys a media whore

Emlyn Hughes and Bill Beaumontdays you mean?? Or even the Beefy Botham days? I loved watching it with these lads on - even Ally McCoist and John Parrot were good but since the early 2000's it's gone to **** for me - a League of Their Own is far better and maybe that's why they're trying to put these new games in - League of their own with James Corden hosting, John Bishop & Jamie Redknapp on one side and Georgie Thompson (oh yeah) and Freddy Flintoff is streets ahead IMO

    Brown's been really good consistently!

O'Shea had a bit of a shaky start. He's moved to CB now and under MON he's vastly improved. Our best header in our squad.
