The Man.City youngster spent last season on loan at Feyenoord. He scored 20 goals in 23 games.

Have a look at him on u tube; John Guidetti/A rising star/2011-2012.

Here's an answer to our search for a striker.

If Mr. Laudrup is reading this,I urge him to get on the telephone, talk to Mr. Mancini, and get this lad on a seasons loan.

We were linked to Guidetti quite some time ago. I think I posted an article on him. Haven't heard anything recently linking us to him which is a shame because he looks like a class player. However do we want another loan player in such a vital position knowing we have no chance of keeping him at the end of his time with us? It all depends on how desperately we need goals.

I think the Feynoord manager said he's just like a younger version of Zlatan Ibrahimovic but then again I saw some idiot commenting on the EP saying we should be looking at signing Carol!!

Why Carol? What can he possibly do for us, we don't have already. Can he pass.

Exactly Yankee. The guy who posted that on the EP is obviously an idiot.

I missed that link,Union. He does indeed look like a class act. His goal celebrations leave me cold, but if he were scoring for The Swans' I would forgive him.

I mention loan because it's doubtful he is available to buy.

"It all depends on how desperately we need goals". Aren't we?

    Forget Caroll,he's not for us.

There are some great vids of him on youtube. His celebrations stem from his colourful character apparently. As much as I like Ballotelli as a player let's hope that Guidetti isn't from the Ballotelli school of characters otherwise he might create off the field problems (if we were to sign him).

As for Carol. It wasn't me that said it, just some idiot commenting on the Flores article on the Evening Post website. He seems to think we need a load of tall players. I think he's a WUM tbh.

Saw Real Madrid v Mallorca in Palma last Jan. Mallorca lost 1-2, a tad unlucky, but if I remember the guy he did OK against the likes of Benzema and Higuine.

Hey .... he's got to be as good as Caulker. If nothing else he will become a good backup to whoever else we can get.
