    Flano turned up to hand out the end of season trophies at the club were I manage kids footy (Woolton FC) in Liverpool on Saturday.

    It took well over 2 hrs to hand the trophies out and he stayed on to sign autographs etc.

    Just thought it was great to see, I know he is privalaged and we pay his wages blah blah blah but the lad didn't have to give us his Saturday afternoon and it meant a lot to the kids.

    So thanks Flano - appreciated :emoticon-0150-hands

    <ok> If it's one thing I like about Liverpool under FSG it's that it's becoming more of a family club again

    Great to hear that, I like it when players keep their feet on the ground.

    Fair play John<ok>

    There have been incidents of players refusing to do such things in recent times.

    I would rather my players off doing what John is doing rather than making TV shows to massage his own ego.

    Top lad.

    <applause>

    Nice to see that the lad cares about the fans and uses his free time to hand out trophies.

    Let's hope that other players can take note and do more for the fans.

    <ok>

    It'll be interesting when Liverpool play QPR as Flanno's uncle plays for QPR.

    Its a well known fact that John Flanagan looks up to Jamie Carragher as an inspiration,It seems that he's following in his footsteps off the pitch too.

    Well done to the lad, read an article from Gerrard saying he went to an away match as a fan and loved it! Great to see players doing that and maintaining "contact" with the fans
