Well in Brayfords case its like a new signing for us. Give him the chance he never had when Malky Mcfly was in charge.

We need to start selling some players. Ive a feeling Brayford will be one gone before the season kicks off.

We're about 8-10 players heavy and 3-4 players light.

Will Fabio be a full back or winger next season? That could influence whether Brayford stays or goes. Two wingers and a left back will just about do us, possibly with a CB if Caulker goes.

I suppose some of the signings will come down to the view on laying the foundations for the Premier League. Different players needed to get you out of the Championship to those needed to keep you in the premier league.

I think we need a hard , ball winning player who can also pass the ball well as a priority.

    Medel is going.

Id also bring in a winger with pace and a centre back.

But a dominant midfielder would be top of my list.

I would like to see Brayford given a chance to shine. He did remarkable for Sheff U last season on loan and a number of teams would love to sign him. Lets give him the chance we didn't last season.

.. On another note, can't see why teams would want Medel tbh

We'll have a better idea of what others think of Medel after the World Cup. I didn't think he was all he was cracked up to be either, last season. The number of times he was subbed after about 65 minutes was ridiculous for someone of his supposed ability. Looked to me like he is a 40 ***s a day man and he was shagged out.

Must have impressed Valencia with his time in Cardiff. He will most probably have an absolute blinder of a World Cup after doing eff all for us all season.

Agree with the comments about Medel, and it's not sour grapes about him probably leaving. As good as he can be, he made some awful decisions whilst on the ball and put those behind him under pressure too often.

There are players out there who would do a far better job at less money than we paid for him. If it was 13 million Euros, that was another instance of extravagance paying an over the top price because the money just happened to be available.

Agree, not to mention his constant sloppy passing.

Looking forward to seeing him perform.

I felt he had a real raw deal last season and surely would have done as well as at least some of the FB's who played last season.

He looked a 6mil player (Valencia's apparent offer) max. 13 million was a ridiculous price for such a limited player. 21mil on him and Cornelius.... FFS I wonder why we're getting ready for the Championship!

I think we'll have to take a hit on the fee or we'll have him next season, which I'm not sure is great news.
