Quite simply the best thing that has ever happened to Football for me. The man was a genius, full of flair, skill, passion which all went to make up his style of "total football".
I'm gutted this morning to hear he is linked with a senior job at Liverpool. I mean what could a legend like Cruyff do with the likes of Doglish, Carroll and Suarez??
Please don't ruin the legend Johan...Stay away from Liverpool.

It would be a massive shame if we went to Lolerpoo! Hopefully this is all idle media talk.

This is all ****e Johanns Fist love is Ajax, hes on the board of directors, he is so passionate about them, he even had a law suit against them, appointing a manager who he didn't think would take Ajax forward, HE WON IN A DUTCH LAW COURT. I cannot see any reason he would go to the bin dippers, I honestly think its media hype. Johann is the greatest player to ever posses a pair of boots.

My all time number one favourite world player, as I grew up in the 70's as a young boy and he was pure magic to me on the pitch and even as a a moody sod off it, he oozed class and super cool. I dont know lad in his late 40's who didnt want to be Johann Cruyff back in the mid to late 70's.

Too good for the Pool imo in any role.
