That's all thoughts of me getting a season tickets straight out the window.

Keep that thug away from my club.

Don't want to see Barton anywhere near Loftus Road again except to collect his P45.
He is shameful and an insult to the badge. Let's get rid ASAP.

I was going to get into a debate but its a but pointless! We'd be better off just agreeing that we'll never agree, some hate him and never want him back, some don't like him but could see he'd do a great job in the championship and there may be the odd few who like him. As it stands I think TF is talking it up to push for a fee from Marseille so it's largely irrelevant.

If you think we have problems in the dressing room and on the training ground now, bring back Barton and take cover.

Too much baggage with players we will end up keeping (and needing).

Harry needs to sort out a team to get us out of the Championship, not get involved in having to sort out historical aggro.

Main problem is simple here EGO ... it's bigger than QPR and certainly bigger than Harold's and I certainly don't agree with his balls

Seahoop ... you go to matches do you not?... seriously? can you list his Barton's good moments as a QPR player? ... it's a short list as I only saw one or two moments in the shirt to suggest that he can even play the game. He chases Yes his heart, effort and sprit is good but I lay this one on you all ... Football... yes is not all about having the ball but Barton spent most of his time chasing shadows or playing very normal passes if at all he managed that. He could take a corner I give him that but other than that???? He is a target for any other team to wind up and is invisible in a game without this factor. He holds shape but its no inert we fail to flow at all ... I have been on record as praising him as and when as he played well and grew his tiny balls against Swansea when we won 3-0 and I thought he would become a factor after that he went on to do what he does best ... nothing much.

Off the pitch I really like him but sorry he can't play football as well as he thinks he can IMO

Good moments at home...norwich, swansea ,arsenal, newcastle. Played quite well against stoke home and away..wolves away also..
Played poor against Liverpool got subbed and booed and came back very good...Can't remeber any other really good or bad games...
Ok not a great player but a good one....
But most inportantly for me is that he stayed at Newcastle and helped them bounce straight back....
He could do the same for the hoops as well...

The whole joey was a problem on the train ground was a load of blocks. Derry has said that they were mates and he was not a problem. I think the last couple of managers we have had have caused more trouble than him.

I'gve heard that too. The main problem for me with barton is that half the opposition will be trying to provoke him, and half the Refs will want to red card him - don't think he's worth all the aggro, though he is a decent enough player, especially in the Championship I'd think. But I also agree with the comment that this is probably just TF trying to talk up a sale - hasn't he also had a go at Colin for signing him in the first place!

Good summary. Not only is Barton a thug who I would not want myself or my family to have anything to do with he was also a crap player in his season with us. Think Ji-Sung Park's contribution this season but with a deck of yellow and red cards thrown in.

Average player with a terrible attitude and has publicly said he only came here for the money. Why would anyone want him?

After the Citeh game, I swore I would never got to Loftus Road again if he was playing...being as fickle as, for sake of argument, a football fan, I could be persuaded to watch him in the Championship having watched our lack of fight this year. Is he a nice person? Absolutely not. Would I want a pint with him? No. Do I think he could do a really good job in the CCC? Yes.

I'm not sure what to want or think if I'm honest.
