If its any consolation for Mark, I judge him on Fulham and Man City as well...

People thinking I hold a grudge against Hughes. I don't. He was the one who let me go to Marseille after all.

What I don't like is people shifting the blame. How dare he say what he has said in that interview. The club/board backed him to the hilt.

Gave him everything he ever asked for. Fans backed him to the hilt. He hired his 'mates' (Rigg/Kia) to advise on players. His signings.

Who took the club down. Why? Lack of professional pride and discipline. IMO. He will claim he kept us up the year. He never. Warnocks team.

I reiterate, players he signed took the club down. Why I am ranting at this interview? Because he is trying to get away from the truth.

We are all now here trying to clean up his mess. The players/staff/board and fans. He inherits Tony Pulis team, a good solid team and now..

..he thinks he's the bees knees. Nah mate, you're not shifting blame. Not on my watch.

Accept you failed. Accept your to blame. Be humble and apologise to a club you left in a hell of a worse situation than when you came.

    Can't wait for my book...😁

Hes 2 for 2 on his last couple of rants. Thats spot on.

Managers claim credit for other peoples work but its never their fault when they fail. Well most of them, theres a few decent men left.

Can't wait for his verdict on Redknapp. Has he changed his mind on Colin then, wasn't very flattering after he was sacked I seem to remember.

Wow. Would be great if Hughes rises to the bait. I would love to know more about exactly what went on. Hopefully we won't have to wait until Joeys book.

Joey, is spot on. And, if I'm honest I like Joey. Yeah he's made mistakes, but who hasn't? At least he is man enough to admit them. Hughes on the other hand wouldn't know the truth if it punched him in the face. A prospect that fills me with hope. Tosser of the highest order.

Although it's hard to disagree with the overall sentiment, I fear that our dear Joey is aiming to take the populist stance. Joey seems to have a very short memory regarding Warnock. It was Warnock that made him captain, displacing the incumbent fans favourite Taarabt. Following Warnock's sacking our Joey went on record as saying that

''Twitter got him sacked? I can think of a million other things. Lost his job and the guy is blaming everyone but himself! Embarrassing, time to look in the mirror mate. Last thing we need right now. Big week.''

He even then went onto say .. '''Not a big fan of people that try to make scapegoats out of others. If u live by the sword, u die by it.'

After voicing his dissatisfaction of life under the 63-year-old Warnock he went on to hail the promise of working under new manager Mark Hughes.

While its tempting to say good on you Joey, lets remember that its not long ago that he himself was slagging everyone off at the Club - including the fans - and blaming everyone bar himself when he was away in France. It was him who fu*ked up at City, no-one else.

Its also interesting to hear him praising COLIN now. As I recall, he was the one Warnock was referring to when he said someone was talking in Fernandes' ear and convinced him to sack him. After COLIN had brought Barton in and looked after him very well, it wasn't long before he was slagging him off in public.

Barton is a mouthpiece. Whatever he says shouldn't be taken too seriously.

Same applies to most of us! Even though I don't really care what he thinks about everything he spouts off about on Twitter, I do agree with a lot of the stuff Joey writes and most definetely this one because, TBH, it's what I want to hear!

I don't think that he has changed his mind on Warnock. All he is saying that it was Warnock's players that kept the team up, not Hughes players. Things got worse with Hughes' players. He isn't saying that Warnock was great.

If anything I think he still believes that Warnock wasn't very good ... but Hughes was much, much worse.

And Redknapp is much, much worse than the pair of them.

It just shows you how far we've gone backwards on the pitch which is incredible considering the money spent.

And there speaks the club captain....

No need to change the record when Joey Barton is the DJ.
