    Hopefully people will finally get off his back now after an amazing game and acting far calmer than most footballers would after the Diaby incident.

    Man of the match for me and you could even see the determination in him in the first half.

    Barton has shown time and time again this season that whilst most of the players in the premier league are nothing but petty kids who dive, talk back to the referee, flash their cash and show a lack of respect to the fans, he is a MAN.

    Not only does he not overreact when he gets fouled and targeted, but he shows grit and unbelievable self belief. It seems as if he is playing not for his paycheque, but for the FANS.

    A great player and what a career turnaround; Joey - you are a credit to NUFC and to football.

    He really is a changed person. Look back at the season ( forget the bit of woman beating against Blackburn) and he's been brilliant in every way
