He seems to have finally sorted himself out, at last.

When he went to prison, I wanted him sacked by the club. I have to admit that I was wrong, not because he is playing well, but because he has managed to turn his life around. He may not have been able to do this without the support of the club.

Well done Joey, please keep proving me and many others wrong.

If he stays with us for the remainder of his career and plays the way we know he can play, then he will become a Toon legend!

He's put his head down and worked hard.

    Well done Joey.

I wish he wouldn't keep saying that. It's true, but whenever he says it people always think he's an arrogant dick. If we'd have sold him and not replaced him I'd have been gutted easily our most influential performer, we'd be lost without him.

He does sound arrogant saying it, even though it's true. I think he thinks that because he is in the form of his life now whereas the Gerrards and Lampards are not in good form, if they were at their best as well, he wouldnt stand out so much.

Joey, Tiote, Colo, spine of a great team <ok>

He is the on form midfielder this season. Probably the on form Englishman. Will be criminal if he doesn't get picked for England.

Barton has always been a loyal player. He never really wanted to leave City even when there was interest from Everton, but was eventually sold because of what happened with Dabo. Glad to see that he's sorted himself out during his time with us, and his commitment to the cause can't be questioned.
