    Just listening to it now.

I love Joey Barton, some of the things he says reminds us that we are still in the **** whilst MA and DL are still at the club.

They are a ****ing disgrace, and its only because we are doing so well as to why they are getting away with it.

Joey says some interesting things, has a long long rant about how they treated him when he was in prison, how MA and DL want to run the club like employees for Sports Direct and how they are getting rid of players who formed a 'players union' at the club. Carroll, Barton, Nolan, Harper, all left, even though Harper was on loan, its clear he won't ever play again. Alan Smith told he will be training with the reserves and won't play(even though he has been on the bench a couple of times).

MA and DL will continue to bully our players in order to make money, simple as that. Any player that speaks up will be gone but it does make me look at players who have stood up against them. Steven Taylor and his contract problems, Danny Simpson backed up Joey Barton in his rants, Gutierrez and Coloccini will not be happy with them either.

Any players from the Chris Hughton regime, or any player on money that he isn't happy with, will be gone soon. Gutierrez signed a new contract but he'll be gone in the next couple of years.

I can't thank MA or DL for our season so far, I thank the playing staff and the coaches, including Pards. Those two didn't find the players that have transformed us.

Joey also says there are millions of other stories of what they got up to. I seriously wish he would do an exclusive and just tell us!

Very interesting actually, makes sense now with Nolan, Barton, Carroll, Harper and Smudger all pulling the strings. They were head of a players committee and openly advised all the other players not to sign a bonus sheet at the beginning of last season (I guess they thought it was dodgy and full of clauses). This was seen by MA and DL as Hughton's problem, that he had no control over his team so that's when Hoots was pushed out and subsequently MA got shot of the aforementioned. No one wanted Smudge so he was told he'd train with the reserves for the rest of his time at Newcastle and Harper was forced to go on loan.

    Unbelievable.

Particularly loved when he called Mike Ashley the "ayatollah" and described Ashley and Llambias as "cretins" <laugh>

This is what we've been waiting for since Barton left in all honesty - the dirt. Sacking Chris Hughton because the players refused to sign a bonus sheet?? Disgusting if it's the case like, I agree that the players had a bit too much power and we haven't really missed Carroll, Barton and Nolan, but still the whole set-up at Newcastle absolutely stinks. If what JB is saying is true (and I see no reason to see why he'd lie) the thing is ran like an absolute dictatorship and basically just an extension of his Sports Direct empire.

    *Sending Harps on loan
    *Smith in the reserves
    *Three key players sold
*Hughton sacked for not forcing the players to sign a sheet riddled with smallprint
*Telling Barton that he must either take a 50% wage cut whilst in prison or face the sack

All absolutely immoral. I hate those two with such a passion, the day they leave the club I'll dance in the street.

He's moaning about all these points and most of you are agreeing with him, yet we're a vastly improved team without him and Nolan

It was actually an 80% cut, Barton said "one fifth of his normal wages"

He was on 60k a week wasn't he?

If so, that's £12k for sitting in a prison cell ignoring the amorous overtones of his cell mate.

I think what he was trying to say was that he didn't get paid a penny while in jail but Ash & Co tried to renegotiate a new contract so his wage when he came back out was a fifth of what it was. He sent it to his lawyer and it got laughed at but he still didn't get paid whilst in the nick.
