    Wow.

Wasn't expecting that. I suspect the Newcastle fans are not happy with Mike Ashley at the moment. Newcastle need the new players they brought to gel or they could have a difficult season coming up.

    I'm really surprised by this.

Nile Ranger has just layed into them as well, check his tweets. Seems it is very unstable there at the moment. Enrique also livened up a week or so back.

Man United? You're having a laugh right?

He was rejected by Newcastle, why would Man U want him?

From what I've heard, NUFC fans are annoyed that he made a whole lot of drama seemingly out of nowhere by bashing the owners through twitter. He apparently was trying to get the fans on his side with his contract.

You do realize you responded to ze liverbird... Right? But Barton also said earlier that it was an honor to have interest from man u, but he wants to finish out his contract at Newcastle... Of course, now that he has no contract...

I love his die hard attitude. His not scum, I disagree. Chris Hughton seemed to get the best out of him and with Nolan and Carroll he worked well and was an asset to Newcastle.

I wouldn't mind him as a backup to Lucas, then we could loan out Jay Spearing with no worries.

KK would get the best out of him and his commitment stands out for me. Yes he has problems off the field but its something I mentioned before, character. Suarez has it, Carroll has it and so does Barton.

I haven't lost any respect for him because of his Newcastle 'outburst' because so did Enrique critize the Newcastle board, and we can't blame them. They're letting players like Barton, Enrique, Carroll and Nolan leave and its ruining the club.
