It would appear that there is a high chance of seeing Joey Barton playing at the gate this season. With QPR bringing in new players and with Bartons ban they are currently looking to loan him out for the season with Blackburn being favourites to take him on.
If he does join them or another championship team I guess we may be seeeing him playing in front of us if he isnt suspended

What he did in that Man City game was a disgrace - has talent, but how many more chances does he want???
    One word - toxic

I think I said about five minutes after he got sent off that we'd probably be seeing him next season. This was before the lengthy ban was announced, though I assumed he'd get one.

He's left QPR no reason to stick by him. He didn't become a 'legend' in that one season with them and almost cost them their entire PL status. Hell, he might have were results elsewhere not so kind. He should go to the SPL, **** him.

I just cant see why any club would take a gamble on him. Sure he has talent and ability but he is a loose cannon.

Whatever your views on this player you must agree that he brings a certain something to the game, aside from his clearly obvious detestable personal traits, that puts bums in the seats. Few players can attract the loathing and boos from the supporters that this man can, and if he's playing at Ashton Gate supporters will show up in droves to vilify him and hope he fails. Worth the proce of admission in my books. P.S. I have an intense dislike for him and his type, but nonetheless he still garners attention from all in the game.
