Joey Barton has been given a three-match "ground ban" and a £3,000 fine for three misconduct breaches that took place after the game against Sheffield Wednesday in April (more details below). The stadium ban will apply to first team competitive fixtures next season. Although there hasn't been any response by the club, the BBC sport Bristol on twitter said they understand Bristol Rovers will appeal the decision to give Joey Barton a three-match stadium ban.
