Who couldn't see something like this coming? Honestly?

Let's face it Ashley, Llambias and Pardew are some of the weirdest people in the business. If you saw the headline "Newcastle board involved in a 3 way scat party", you wouldn't even flinch.

This is what has become of this club! However, it's not the end of the world. We will, until the start of the season get all of the (You're going down) rants from the other supporters within the division. But none of them are psychics and it's doubtful any have any experience in predicting the future.

Am I disappointed? Considerably! Joey, for all his faults, was the heart and sole of the Newcastle team. Passionate, commanding and re-payed our patience in him with performance on the pitch. Will we replace him? Most likely not.

I'm a huge supporter of the vision we have of a self sufficient football club. However, the sale of Carroll, lack of reinvestment in players, Nolan's sale, now Barton...... some of these obviously were not essential to it!

Ashley's lucky were all such handsome men or we'd have less to be happy about and really get at the big man.

Bottom line is, this was definitely happening in one year, so if he leaves now we cant be entirely shocked as we always knew he was leaving. The fact also remains that Barton can reject a move if he wants to and stay. Nothings really changed IMO.

That's a little harsh on Perch. He's only just getting over being blamed for the recession
