    Joey is always good for a bit of craic. Good or bad. He looks to be doing really well. I think he will look back in a couple of years time and think "**** where did the time go, wasted my career". Had good talent but demons in his head.

    Never really rated Guthrie, doing ok by all accounts. Mind he was decent for us in the Championship. Right level for him IMO.

    I thought he did a pretty good job in the season we finished fifth. We missed him last season thats for sure. He helped us totally boss the championship.

    When Cabaye was out he had a decent little run and was quite unlucky to get the hook when he returned. Overall though, a frustrating player. Gave the ball away far too much and those free kicks he'd give away with petty kicks when he couldn't be arsed to do the hard yards really annoyed me. Giving the ball away so much was defo laziness because he could pass a football.

    He looked fitter in that little spell, and he was clearly not a great one for looking after himself as he looked chubby a lot. Talent in there somewhere, just never really applied himself.

    Barton always finds a way to be centre of attention, whether it's a man of the match performance or some sort of controversy. Thought Barton played well yesterday.

    Just one of those characters. Thing is if he had just concentrated on his football, left all the controversy, he'd have probably had a top career.

    I like how he threw the bottle first, then decided that hadn't had the desired effect... Will there be retrospective punishment, or is this incident regarded as craic?

    Quite agreed, I would be amazed if I found someone who didn't think that Barton produced his best football during his time at Manchester City.

    Always liked Barton myself. Loads of skill and talent, he was his own worst enemy though.
