So, if reports are to be believed, Ward is in talks with Town about a move to PR, i think this is great and he is just the kind of player we want. As for the other Pompey 2, i don't want Henderson and would rather Cuzan or Heaton than him, i would however love us to get Pearce but think a bigger club will go in for him! Can Clegg the Clown seal the deal???
how long are these talks going to take this time?!?! i wonder if the 3 players wish they'd moved to you in january as it may have saved pompey from administration. it probably wouldn't have as their debt is so massive but i'm sure it would have helped in the short term if nothing else. do you reckon they feel guilty?
He didn't want to know during the transfer window, so we shouldn't bow down to him now. Pi** off elsewhere you hypocrite.
he's the worst of the three your after and probably the least willing to leave, but if matters are out of his hands he will go for the club. you could do a lot worse but it would be the same old case of signing players that don't actually want to be there. id imagine theres only so much passion and commitment they can give when that is the case. if you do take him on just consider it as an investment to stop us going bust and therefore protect the points you've taken from us : )
If he was so concerrned about the club, he'd have gone in january, and taken a wage cut like those Rangers players.
I don't think you can moan about the players not signing on deadline day they would not have had time to look around the club and the facilities or have a proper chat about the clubs ambitions and so on, who here would make a big decision with just a few hours to consider it and all the ramifications.
all this talk of loyal players is total poop, its a job to all of them, they go where the money or job security is. nice to think that players care about the club but its a bit fairy tale really.
Exactly, the only player who has shown any loyaly to a club he loves is the young lad from Rangers (Gregg Wylde)...Pompey players are now begining to reconsider the options as it is looking more likely that they could go down...!
i would usually agree with you but i do believe ward is an exception. he grew up in the area and actually supports the club. the deadline day deal was trying to be forced through by an administrator of the parent company who had no right to do so. also the insulting valuations would hardly have made a dent worth noticing on the overall figure. it would have just been another million or so to fall into the wrong hands. if he has to go he will but i honestly believe he would want to stay. also you mention taking pay cuts. that has already happened the only one that didn't take it was erik because he was loaned out the same day. what we are after is the loan fees to help balance out the books till the end of the season.
LOL they have rejected you for a fourth time LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. And for your information-Henderson went to West Ham at the first time of asking They would never move to "Ipswich"
You seem to have made a mistake when entering your age, you've accidentally put a 1 in front of the 7.
" LOL they have rejected you for a fourth time LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. And for your information-Henderson went to West Ham at the first time of asking They would never move to "Ipswich" " In your style ( no offence to normal pompey fans ) LOL your clubs going bust and your going down LOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL clown ! Ben haim £35,000 a week ? WELL DONE !
hahahahaha, you're a funny ****er aren't you... here's this for a joke... your club, your history, your players, your stadium... everything Pompey will be dead, Alan Knight will be turning in his grave and poor old Jimmy Dickinson will face a bigger humiliation beyond being eaten by maggots in a wooden box.
also Henderson when I went was abysmal - and did Joel Ward even play the game at fratton park ? I'm not even kidding if he did, I cannot remember who he was on the pitch. We could have smashed your shambolic team by 4 or 5 that night you were beyond hopeless !
