Chelsea fan in peace.

Having seen this kid play in Copa america for 2 and 1/5 matches - should say he is a good player.

He has got tenacity, speed, skills and scoring capability. 19 year old who is touted as the future of Costa Rica football team.

Could turn around to be one of those unknown -to- great signings Arsene is usually known for!

Last but not least, definitely way better than Chic pea <ok>.

The deal has fallen through, we've pulled out of it. This lad's dad seems to be a bit of a tosser.

From Gunnerblog.com :

The President of his club Saprissa, Juan Carlos Rojas, confirmed:
“It’s a disappointment for football, for Saprissa and for me that they have decided not to take up an offer from as serious and first-class people as Arsenal. I hope it works out for Joel.
I assume his father thinks that things will get better and that’s why he made this decision, but hey, there’s always a risk. It’s a shame that Costa Rican football could not have a player at Arsenal at this time.”

No no, I was on Youngguns and there was no news of this on it. Bit of a shame and sounds like someone else is making overtures and buttering up the dad.

Who cares really? We've got enough potential. We've had enough players over the years who have twat relatives for agents.

There was talk of Sunderland getting him awhile ago, looks a really good player (well in the Coppa America he did), but i have not heard anything since regarding him, I wouldnt say no to him in a red and white shirt.

would have been a steal for you at 900,000.

Now someone else in Europe would sign him.
Shame you guys cannot even sign un-established players.

What is with Arsenal now acting like scout for other big clubs?

How much of your profit do your owners spend every year paying off their debt ?
