I shall be at Prenton Park on Friday night and will most certainly join you in your support. A few days ago the young daughter of a very good friend of mine, ( herself a mother with a baby ),was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cervical cancer - seeing my good friend become distraught overnight is not pleasant - I can't begin to think what she's experiencing............... It makes you realise that there are far more important things in life than football. May God allow you to recover soon Joe. Best wishes.
I'll be there and happy to join in to support Joe, I was given the all clear in October making it 6 months since treatment finished, it can be beaten with faith and prayer. Best wishes Joe, stay positive.
brb, might be an idea to try to link this page on the other gills forums and the O/S. The more gills fans travelling up that are aware the better. Wish the bloke all the best.
I am going on Friday Night and if Tranmere are going to do a minutes applause on the 7th minute then I am sure we will join in and show our own respects to Joe Thompson.
So glad to hear (through brb on the other thread) that the minutes applause for Joe was respected by our traveling fans. All the best Joe. We're all thinking of you in your battle. Take care.
