Unfortunately (or fortunately depending how you look at it), I suspect he sees Spurs as a business investment rather than a hobby - so he will only put more of his money in if it gets a return. The NDP is quite a close call on whether it makes a return or not, as far as I can see, which is why Levy is looking at all the options

It's better in the long-term for the club to be able to generate its own funds, than to pay money that is only there as long as their sugar daddy is.

I don't think that Lewis really has much interest in Spurs.
He lets Levy do his thing and watches the value of his asset grow.
Rather counter-intuitively, that's worked out pretty well for us, so far.

His daughter once said of him, "He doesn't like to talk to people. It aggravates him." <laugh>

Well i think that once the stadium is built/aquired we will see if he has any interest in the club as i have a strong feeling a sugar daddy will come knocking to buy a club that has a strong financial structure and still on the verge of top flight european football.

Are people interested in an Abromovich/Etihad type takeover then? Do we despise other clubs for their quick money but are saying its ok for us?

Would it not be a credit to yourself to leave a legacy for thousands to enjoy?
I am not saying a Russ/Arab open cheque book. Lewis could easily contribute
some wonga from his huge cash pot to get the stadium moving forward and
    not really notice it.
Lewis could be remembered for being kind , decent, good man or maybe just another
    obnoxicious, greedy old businessman.

    I'm not.
I'm quite happy to see us develop success under our own terms, using our own money.

Not at all, we already have a billionaire owner...trust us to have the only one that doesn't want to pump money in. I'm not suggesting Citeh style, but he could afford one off cash injections, like the new stadium, surely its good for his overall investment in the long run.
